Are you ready for TOSS? TOSS is a community corn hole tournament that raises money for CancerFree KIDS, an organization dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research. This event will be held this Saturday, November 17 at The Woods Bar from 12:30pm to 3:00pm. TOSS is designed to raise awareness about pediatric cancer and engage the Miami community in a positive service competition.

This corn hole tournament is for everyone, and the registration link is still open to sign up before the event. Visit  to register for only $20 per team of two. TOSS is a yearly event that allows students at Miami University to support a charitable cause close to the hearts of many. This year, the winner of the cornhole tournament will receive $100 in catering for the organization of their choice and a trophy. At the event, there will be an opportunity to enter in a raffle with over $300 in gift cards and coupons for local businesses. TOSS is sponsored by nine companies who greatly value the cause and want the event to be successful.

CancerFree KIDS strives to provide research funding through a variety of events, one being TOSS. The organization was founded after the daughter of Sam and Ellen Flannery was diagnosed with cancer as an infant. CancerFree KIDS continues to grow, raising more and more revenue for pediatric cancer research. Since the creation of the organization, 124 research projects have been funded by CancerFree KIDS. These projects come to about $4.4 million in total.

There are a variety of ways to get involved with CancerFree KIDS, which can be found on their website. Visit to learn more about CancerFree KIDS and other ways to support the cause.
